The 2013 Bristol Bike Show will take place in and around St Nicholas Market, Corn Street and Small Street on Saturday 17 August.
The annual free event features old, new and custom motorcycles and offers visitors an opportunity to talk to owners and clubs.
Show bikes need to be on site by 9AM, after which the road will be closed to traffic until 4.30PM. There will be prizes for the best bikes in a number of categories including Classic, Custom, Scooter, Engineering, Club Stand, Paint, British, Japanese and American, as well as Best in Show. As last year, entrants will not pick a category, the judges will decide. The awards presentation will take place on the main stage at 3PM.
There will be live music throughout the day with confirmed acts including Pressed for Time, The Press, Mestizo Blues Collective and the Horble and Wornes Music Emporium and between bands Biker Rock Radio.com, an internet radio station run for bikers by bikers, will be broadcasting.
Pressed for Time will also play at the Bristol Bike Show After Party, organised by Bristol MAG, which will take place at Saracens Rugby Club, Cribbs Causeway in the evening. Tickets cost £6 (£5 to MAG members).
Prior to the show Saracens Rugby Club will be open on Friday night for camping and beer. For further information visit www.thebristolbikeshow.co.uk.
