The first Make Sundays Special event took place on Sunday 23rd June 2013. Streets in the City Centre were closed to motor traffic. Community groups, activity leaders, artists and street performers were invited to come and enjoy the space. The idea builds on the success of similar schemes in Bordeaux and Bogota, but with a very special Bristol flavour.
