Right in the heart of the city it couldn’t be easier to get to the Old City:
By foot/bicycle: a 2 minute walk from the well-connected Centre Promenade (the area with the fountains outside the Hippodrome!) or a 5 minute walk from neighbouring Park Street, Christmas Steps, Harbourside, and Bristol Shopping Quarter. Just follow the many signs to ‘Old City’.
By bus: most of Bristol's buses stop at the Centre Promenade (Broad Quay) which is a 2 minute walk away from Old City, or take the City Sightseeing tour bus.
By train: from Bristol Temple Meads mainline station a 15 minute bus ride (services 8 or 9).
By Park & Ride: from one of the three locations (A4 Portway), A370 Long Ashton, A4 Bath Road.
By car: a five minute walk from Queen Charlotte Street, Nelson Street, or The Galleries Shopping Centre car parks.
