IT was one of the very first farmers' markets in the country and this week Bristol's Corn Street bazaar has been celebrating its 15th birthday.

The gathering of stalls and stands, which tempt shoppers each Wednesday with everything from Cheddar strawberries to homemade soups, has become as much a part of the street scene in the city as sunbathing students in Castle Park and skateboarders on College Green.
