An emergency cycle repair kit is now available for use by Old City businesses at FCP Coffee in 59 Broad Street. This is to encourage local businesses to cycle to and from work and keep the bikes on the road.
The scheme works on an honesty/replacement basis, with the parts and tools free for use, to be replaced by the user in due course.
The kit includes:
• Inner tubes
• Puncture repair kit
• Oil and grease
• Selected tools and spanners
• D-lock
• Hi-Viz vest
• Track stand pump
This is not meant to replace proper servicing by local bicycle repair specialists but it is there for those little emergencies.
Please make use of the kit and please encourage your team to get onto their bikes more often.
